Cambridgeshire, Thursday 23rd March 2023 - In remembrance of the third anniversary of the late King Maroy's passing, Maroy Foundation proudly inaugurated the King Maroy Bursaries Fund at Homerton College.
Demonstrating the Foundation's commitment to education, we have allocated £50,000 to aid undergraduate students hailing from underrepresented backgrounds including refugees, carers, asylum seekers, migrants, and others pursuing their studies at Cambridge.
This initiative serves as a foundational step in our extended partnership with Homerton and marks the beginning of our broader support for tertiary education projects across Europe over the next five years.
This significant expansion aligns with our dedication to fostering education globally. Concurrently, we continue our robust support for the 2023/24 academic year, extending scholarships to 75 young individuals, our fourth cohort of Scholars, in secondary education across South Kivu, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The Foundation is proud to contribute to the educational journey of deserving individuals, both locally and internationally, in honour of King Maroy's legacy.
