Excellence without competition -- Subsidised health care
Maroy Foundation Hospital focuses on providing quality health care at an affordable, subsidised price, with genuine compassion. We charge only for administrative costs incurred in treating our patients and maintaining our services, we do not retain any profit, and because of this our health care is more than half the price of other hospitals in our region, making it among the most affordable, with considerable quality and expertise.
Our doctors and nurses have exceptional educational and work experience. The atmosphere in our hospital is always warm and friendly: We welcome all guests, local or foreign.

We have a small pharmacy on site which we are seeking to expand in order to serve the whole region of Kadutu which unfortunately currently lacks a sufficient pharmacy dispensary.
We offer general and specialised health care in paediatrics, surgery, dentistry, maternity, ophthalmology, dermatology, neuropsychiatry, physiotherapy, and medical imaging.
We charge only for administrative costs incurred in treating our patients and maintaining our services, we do not retain any profit, and because of this our health care is more than half the price of other hospitals in our region, making it among the most affordable, with considerable quality and expertise.

Recent visit by H.E. the honourable Govenor of Sud-Kivu Théo Nawabidje Kasi
On Saturday 10th August 2019, a small wooden boat carrying what is estimated at over 110 people sailed from the island of Idjwi to Bukavu. Tragedy struck as the boat, dangerously overloaded, hit a rock and led to the collapse of the vessel. A significant number of citizens died in the accident. The remaining survivors managed to make it, through grit and ingenuity, on shore.
65 were taken in by Maroy Foundation Hospital, 10 by Hôpital Provincial Général de Référence de Bukavu, and 22 to la Clinique Médicale de Bukavu of Université officielle de Bukavu.
